Welcome to our new GLOBE CARES website. Last year, Globe Manufacturing Company announced that we were expanding our in-house repair department to include the services of Advanced Cleaning and Advanced Inspection. This was largely in response to the 2008 revision of NFPA 1851, Standard on Selection, Care and Maintenance of Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity Fire Fighting, which requires organizations who wish to perform their own advanced cleaning and inspections to be trained by the manufacturer. Our CARES department is able to offer the necessary training, and we would refer you to the link on training to see the various options we offer for training of fire departments and other organizations who wish to become ISP’s. We have established the CARES website as another tool for our customers and dealers.
